Ed knows the 'special gift' that a rescued animal can be. His first dog, Kola, came from the SPCA. Adding to the family was a rescued cat, Kat, and his first Weimaraner, Shadow. The experience has caused him to know the importance of animal shelter and rescue organizations.
For many years, Ed has donated paintings to various organizations or charities to help raise funds for their very worthy causes.
