Ed knows the 'special gift' that a rescued animal can be.  His first dog, Kola, came from the SPCA.  Adding to the family was a rescued cat, Kat, and his first Weimaraner, Shadow.  The experience has caused him to know the importance of animal shelter and rescue organizations.

For many years, Ed has donated paintings to various organizations or charities to help raise funds for their very worthy causes.  His paintings have been successful in helping to raise tens of thousands of dollars in their fundraising efforts.  Be sure to check back to see new donations for upcoming fundraisers .

Ed has donated to these rescues/charities.  Please check out their websites to see what wonderful work these organizations do.  You never know.... you may find your next pet!

"On behalf of the Cashiers-Highlands Humane Society, I would like to thank you for your generous support at our inaugural Park, Beer and Bluegrass event in Highlands. The contribution of your wonderful dog painting helped to make the evening a tremendous success.  The 30" x 40" Weimaraner style painting sold at live auction for $1,300 and helped us to reach a most worth net amount for the benefit. We really appreciate your stepping forward with this wonderful contribution."

"The event last night was a huge success! ... The 'catnap' painting sold for $1,300. ... You have been so generous over the last few years and we really appreciate it."

SUPPORTING RESCUES / CHARITIES

"Ed, I would like to personally thank you for your generous donation to the ALR silent auction last month.  Your painting truly was the 'highlight' of the art table and the time & effort you put into this piece did not go unnoticed!  Words cannot express how appreciative we are to you.  Just know we are able to rescue, vet and re-home 5-6 more dogs this month because of you.  Thank you for all you do! "

"Rainbow Trout"

Thanks to all those that helped make this fundraiser a BIG success!.  The Animal Adoption Center was raising money to build a "no kill" shelter.

Eying the Tetons raised $5,000 in their live auction.  So grateful to be a small part in helping the animals.
